Machines and Man (“we,” “us”) operates machinesandman.com and related Buddy / Talk products. This policy explains how we handle information you give us, including mobile numbers used for SMS.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, mobile phone number, account and setup preferences, device identifiers, and messages you exchange with our services (including voice and SMS). We collect information you submit on forms, during Buddy setup, or when you text our number.
How we use information
- To provide AI companion, voice, vision, and automation services
- To send opted-in SMS customer-care messages (reminders, appointment notices, service updates)
- To operate, secure, and improve Machines and Man
- To respond to HELP / STOP and support requests
SMS and mobile information
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for purposes unrelated to providing you with the messaging service.
We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers (such as Telnyx), phone companies, and other vendors who assist in the delivery of text messages.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run Machines and Man (hosting, AI providers, telephony), when required by law, or with your direction.
Retention
We keep information as long as needed for the service, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. You may ask us to delete account data by emailing frankamartino@gmail.com. SMS STOP stops future texts from that campaign; it may not delete historical logs immediately.
